Anoushka Shankar
Anoushka Shankar is a British American singer and musician, is well known for her songs. She was the youngest and first woman to receive a British House of Commons Shield she has had nine Grammy Awards nominations and was the first musician of Indian origin to perform live and to act as a host at the awards ceremony. Anoushka is a new star on the rise in Indian sitar. She's a daughter of Ravi Shankar and a former student. Her birthplace was London in 1982. In her first years she split in London New Delhi. Her debut concert was on stage in New Delhi at the tender age of 13. Then she moved into Encinitas CA, where she earned the High School diploma with honors in 1999. Anouskha continues to have a bright music and acting career, even though she's young. Since quite some time, she regularly performs with her father. She released her debut album in 1998. dropped Anourag as her debut album as a solo artist. It was followed by Live at Carnegie Hall, a Grammy-nominated album a year following. She's performed in all major venues around the globe. Anoushka Shakar's talents are not just limited to music. She also published Bapi, the love of my life in 2002.
